The assessment process at Simova is as follows:

You will be assessed in terms of grades (A, B, C..... ), depending on the quality of your work in all the above four items.

We follow the "open-book" method for all your assignments. That is, you are free to refer to the study material and other books when answering questions.

There are also self-assessment aids offered after each unit in your course material, wherein you periodically evaluate your own learning. Peer Review means that you involve your Collaborative Learning group in assessing your learning. You will be assessing your group members' learning by reviewing their assignments.

18. What does the name Simova mean?
Simova is an anagram of Asimov, the last name of the renowned writer Isaac Asimov. Few people realise this, but Asimov was one of the greatest Distance Educators of all time. While he may have been most popularly known for his science fiction writing, Asimov's real genius lay elsewhere: he was a great explainer. And, as a complement to that fact, an absolutely outstanding Distance Educator.
